Mordakai

When Mordakai was a mere seven years of age, a personal tutor for violin was hired for him. His lessons were three times a week for two hours, until he turned eleven, when he was merely subjected to twice a week lessons for an hour. He was still expected to practice on his own time. Thankfully he actually began to enjoy playing, and he is a skilled musican.

A sport he picked up when he was in his teens, Mordakai rather enjoys this as a hobby. He has owned several birds, and currently hunts with a female Bateleur Eagle. He tends to hunt game birds and rabbits primarily, but has taught the bird to take down larger prey, and even attack people if ordered to do so. His bird, Gisela is highly trained and loyal to him. She tolerates his manservant, and hates more or less anyone else.

Although his raw power in magic will never match that of the great Wizards, he is quite adept with simple to more moderately powered spells. His abilities with ritual and formal magic is greater than spontaneous spellcasting. His magic is potent for one of his age, although he is outmatched by those with a great deal more experience and time than himself. Alchemy is his specialty. He has been taught by others, as well as studied extensively on his own. Alchemy, became an obsession of his beyond all other things. He was able to use it to 'fix' multiple long term health problems he had in his youth, as well as force himself to grow to a greater height than he would have had naturally. While he can make potions and balms that have near miraculous effects, he does not often openly market this skill. To the right person, he may also offer more nefarious products. He also is able to obtain rare ingredients such as potent toxins, unicorn's blood, dragon scales and countless other things.

He speaks Common, Latin and French. His French is a bit rusty, as he studied it when he was young. His Latin came later in lessons, and was furthered by his interest in magic. He also knows a bit of Infernal, simply due to his interest in the occult. He is well spoken and his penmanship is graceful and neat. He can write in Latin, and and read and write some French as well.
